Tharu Community Women’s Hand encourages and motivates women to be entrepreneurs by providing them with different skill-based training. The organization provides the basics to initiate their enterprises. Tharu Community Women’s Hand also provides the management knowledge of how to run their business efficiently. It promotes green enterprises that do not have any side effects on climate change.

Ride for Health
Ride for Health is a collaborative project with Tharu Ethnic Resort and Food Hub to make sustainable cities and make people healthy. In this program, visitors are encouraged to ride bicycles which helps for the good health of visitors. The money collected from renting the bicycles to the visitors is donated to health care for poor people. The idea of the program is to make visitors’ health better with, promote sustainable cities and finally help poor people’s healthcare.
Education
The funds collected from trainings, and selling handicrafts, jewellery and attire are spent on the health, education and capacity building of women entrepreneurs. In education, Tharu Community Women’s Hand supports schools for infrastructure development, funding for volunteer teachers, day meals for kids and support stationaries for the students. Tharu Community Women’s Hand has helped to build three rooms building of the New Sauraha Daycare Center.
