Muna Chaudhary belongs to Tharu indigenous community. She learned to make Tharu traditional handicrafts from her parents. She also attended some trainings in handicrafts organized by Tharu Cultural Museum and Research Center, Chitwan. She is now a certified trainer of Tharu traditional handicrafts. She provides training on traditional Tharu handicrafts from elephant grass.
